Claque et fin. Les rideaux sont tombés sur la 6è édition du Festival des Arts et de la Culture Tammari (Factam) couplée avec le 18è séminaire de la Commission Nationale Linguistique Ditammari (Cnld). Démarré le 5 avril 2024, ce grand rendez-vous culturel des peuples Bètammaribè a connu son épilogue le samedi 06 avril dernier. Il a connu la présence de plusieurs personnalités politico-administratives dont entre autres les honorables députés Barthélémy Kassa et Théophile N’tia M’po, du maire de Natitingou Taté Ouindéyama, du Président de la Cnld Dr Justin Nata et des peuples partageant la langue ditammari venus du Bénin, du Niger, du Nigeria, du Togo, du Burkina Faso et bien d’autres.

La ville de Natitingou a vibré aux rythmes et aux couleurs de la 6è édition du Festival des Arts et de la Culture Tammari (Factam). Durant deux jours, les populations du pays des Batammariba ont exploré et valorisé leur culture riche dans sa diversité. « Koutammarikou face aux défis de l’extension du classement au patrimoine mondial de l’Unesco », c’est autour de ce thème que s’est tenue cette édition du Factam.
Dans son discours d’ouverture, le Président de la Cnld Dr Justin Nata, a salué la présence massive des Bètammaribè à ce festival qui témoigne de l’attachement à leur culture. Selon lui, le Factam a été instauré par la Cnld dans les années 2000 et s’organise chaque trois ans. Il a pour objectif essentiel non seulement de renforcer l’union et la fraternité de la communauté Otammari mais aussi de valoriser sa culture. Ainsi , il a invité les uns et les autres à transmettre ce patrimoine immatériel aux jeunes générations pour que la culture se perpétue. Dr Justin Nata n’a pas manqué aussi de saluer le gouvernement béninois qui fait assez d’efforts pour promouvoir la culture des peuples beninois.
À tour de rôle, les différentes autorités et personnalités présentes sont passées au pupitre pour saluer cette noble initiative de grande portée qui mérite une adhésion massive de la communauté Tammari. Pour sa part, l’honorable Barthélémy Kassa a souhaité l’unification des festivals des peuples du département de l’Atacora afin de renforcer leur union pour un grand impact de leur culture.
Ainsi, les groupes folkloriques et des artistes ont tenu en haleine le public avec des prestations hautes de gamme à la maison des jeunes de Natitingou. C’est dans une ambiance de bon enfant que les festivités ont pris fin à la satisfaction de tous les participants. Le rendez-vous est donc pris pour la prochaine édition que l’on espère avec beaucoup plus d’innovations.
