L’Association pour la Promotion d’Elevage au Sahel et en Savane (Apess) coordination communale et l’espace de concertation communale des jeunes de Kandi est très préoccupé par les conflits agro-pastaux. C’est pourquoi, depuis quelques temps, les responsables de cette association ne cessent de multiplier les actions pour trouver des solutions adéquates à ce phénomène aux conséquences désastreuses. Ce lundi 22 avril 2024, ils ont été reçus en audience par la maire de la commune de Kandi, Zinatou Alazi Osséini Saka.
Saïdou Adamou et Sidi Mama Sambo respectivement Président de l’espace de concertation communale et Président de la coordination communale de l’Apess de Kandi sont allés rencontrer l’autorité communale pour échanger avec elle sur l’éternel conflit qui s’oppose aux éleveurs aux agriculteurs. À l’entame de la séance, le Président Saïdou Adamou a exposé essentiellement la situation avec des exemples concrets à leur hôte. Dans son intervention, il a insisté sur le fait qu’une porte de sortie doit être trouvée pour la quiétude des différents protagonistes dans leurs activités respectives. Les deux responsables ont souhaité notamment l’ouverture des couloirs de pâturage dans les extrémités des voies publiques inter-villages pour faciliter à l’accès au point d’eau et aux aires de pâturage aux animaux. Ceci, avec l’appui des autorités communales de Kandi.
En prenant la parole, le maire Zinatou Alazi Osséini Saka a d’abord salué l’initiative de l’Apess et témoigné combien de fois les responsables de cette association se soucient véritablement des conflits liés aux agriculteurs et éleveurs dans sa commune en particulier et au niveau national en général. Ainsi, l’édile de la cité des Kandisounon a pris l’engagement solennel de présenter le document de proposition de l’Apess au conseil communal afin qu’une solution soit trouvée dans un temps soit peu pour le bonheur des éleveurs et agriculteurs. En abondant dans le même sens, le Deuxième Adjoint au Maire (Dam) qui a assisté l’autorité communale, a donné des orientations et des précisions sur les approches de solution proposées par l’Apess.
La séance a pris fin à la satisfaction de tous les participants dans l’espoir d’une suite favorable aux différentes préoccupations.
